Financial Assistance

Through Youth Service some young people will be eligible for financial assistance from Work and Income through either a Youth Payment, Young Parent Payment, student allowance or student loan.

Your Youth Adviser will work with you to find out if any of these options are suitable for you. There are a number of obligations or things that you must do to receive these payments.  If you don't have a good reason for not meeting these obligations then your payment will be reduced or stopped.

Please talk to your Youth Adviser if there is anything that you don't understand regarding your financial assistance.
