Category One is the highest rank achievable in NZQA's External Evaluation and Review (EER) process, and is acknowledgement from NZQA of the excellent standards at ComCol, and places us amongst the best education providers in New Zealand.

NZQA carried out the EER on ComCol in March 2016. This process consisted of a multi-day visit by an external evaluation team, which assessed the extent to which ComCol delivers quality and value to learners and the community, and evaluated how ComCol uses self-assessment to understand performance and bring about continual improvement.

We were rated; 'Highly Confident in Educational Perfomance' and 'Highly Confident in Capability in Self-Assessment' and as a result have been awarded Category One status.

“At ComCol we're passionately committed to helping our students achieve success with their qualifications and providing a supportive learning environment to help them realise their potential,” says Doug Reid, Chief Executive. “Our staff are thrilled to receive the recognition of the Category One status.”
