Coffee School

The Coffee School gives a practical introduction to Barista Skills and the Cafe Industry which may assist employment at entry level in Cafe/Brasserie/Restaurant areas.

The Coffee School covers specialist coffee making skills, including the Prepartion and Presentation of pressed, filtered, and espresso coffee. The Coffee School also includes preparation and presentation of Cafe Food, Employment Relationships, Customer Service, Food Safety, Cash Handling, Menu Creation, Catering and Service for functions and incorporates the National Certificate in Food and Beverage - Level 2. There is also a Community Colleges certificate in the "Skill of Barista" up for grabs, which is gained by completing 4 units standards in the Skill of Barista.
