Employment Skills
National Certificate in Employment Skills
The National Certificate in Employment Skills is awarded to people who
have demonstrated competence in literacy, oracy, numeracy, and other
personal and technical skills. These skills have been identified by a
wide range of employers as being important in the workplace.
This qualification accepts credit from both unit standards and achievement standards.
Community Colleges offers this certificate in a flexible and accessible
way, so that people can complete it through a range of programmes or
courses.
In addition, this qualification is a springboard from which people may progress towards other qualifications.
