Our Retail Programmes cover a wide range of skills, that are essential to any position, ranging through a variety of key industries. It is ideal for people wishing to upgrade their skills and learn the procedures required for any retail, wholesale or sales position.

The National Certificate in Retail - Level 2 is a entry level qualification for people who are working or intending to work in the retail distrubution industry. This qualification recognises that the holder has the skills to provide basic customer service and demonstrate knowledge of health and safety, routine calculations, product and legilsation.

The following areas may be covered:

• Merchandising, involving creating displays and selling goods and services.
• Knowledge of legislation relating the purchasing and sale of goods and services 
• Customer service skills, including knowledge of consumerism, assisitng customers with their purchasing, and building a rapport with customers.
• Health and Safety in the workplace
• Computing Skills, including Micorsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.
• Personal Development - including personal presentation, cultural and community awareness, time management, team work, dealing with stress and communicating in a work environment.
