Transition Services

Community Colleges operate two transition services for school leavers in the South Island, under an agreement with the Ministry of Social Development.

Work'n it Out and the Canterbury Youth Transition Service (CYTS) support teenagers aged 15 – 19 years who’ve left school to get a job, move into training or tertiary study. Both are free services and available to any school leaver in the regions listed below. For more information click on the logos below.

Work’n it Out is available to school leavers in the Timaru,
Waimate, Mackenzie, Otago, Central Otago and Southland
