Sorrell Cowen
Originally from Manchester in England, I moved to NZ in March 2025 and now live in Christchurch. I have a background in environmental education and conservation, and previously worked as a forest ranger before becoming a sustainability analyst for a climate education company. I look forward to sharing my passion for the environment, sustainability, and community engagement with my students. The LEAP programme has been designed to take learning beyond the classroom and give students practical work ready skills to help them move confidently into employment or into further education and training, and I look forward to helping them on their journey.
