GROW Course
North Canterbury Free for 15 - 24 year-olds Initial 7 week group programme with ongoing one-on-one mentoring, to secure a future pathway. LEAP Course
North Canterbury Free for 16 - 24 year-olds (entry criteria applies) A 20 week programme with the opportunity to gain a New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) Qualification and 60 credits towards NCEA Level 1 and 2. FLIP Course
North Canterbury Free for 18 - 24 year-olds 8-week programme. Weekly 4-hour in person workshops. Small groups with one-on-one mentoring. Improving your self-esteem, work readiness, and your ability to engage with your MSD Case Manager to move into and stay in employment. |
EQUINE Programmes
North Canterbury Equine Connect - offers a comfortable and relaxing space for people going through personal challenges. Weekly 1-2 hour sessions. Open to all ages. Equine Career Link - looking for your first job or change of career? Need a leg-up in the equine industry? Open to all ages. Equine International Studies - a combined equine skills and riding course for Rangiora High School international students. We provide a FREE Youth Service for 16-19 year- olds offering guidance and support to help young people into education, training, work based learning and more.
Our focus is on supporting our taiohi into education, training and work-based learning- but we do much more. Our youth coaches provide intensive, tailored support to identify their goals and find the best path to reach them. Available in:
